One of the best and most friendly restaurants you could visit on the Southern Highlands.It was a *locals" night (Thursday) with their friends, we were mere travellers and welcomed by staff as though we were friends also.Head of house, waiting staff and open kitchen treated us like we were regulars.FoodBlue swimmer crab cakes shared, with a mayo and chilli dressing with greens, tangy and tasty.MainsMy wife had slow cooked shredded Bungandore lamb with Greek cheese infused bechamel sauce, wow.I had veal with lemon infused mustard sauce, at least 7 or 8 layers of finely cut and grilled veal, a big meal, tender and tasty.Good wine selection, nothing overpriced.Food, service, staff,great.Would we come back ?Yes please

Lovely, cozy friendly little restaurant, with of course delicious food.Garlic prawns are sensational. Beef briskets and chilli mayo that night for the main exceptional. Would love to come back and try other dishes. Very nice place.

We were lucky enough to get a table today without having a booking. Everything about Josh’s cafe is exemplary. The staff are warm, welcoming and engaging - nothing is a problem. The food is excellent - so fresh and delicious no matter what you order. The cafe itself is charming and cozy. This was our second visit and there is nothing not to like. We will be back again to enjoy more of the fabulous menu.

This place is a hidden gem and well worth the visit. Could not fault anything at this restaurant, from the moment we arrived until we left. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and attentive. Every dish we ordered was delicious and the desserts were amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here. Best to make a booking as this place is very popular. Definitely will return next time visiting the Highlands.

We managed to reserve the last table in the whole restaurant!! Lucky indeed...The food was really scrumptious n service attentive n friendly. It was a lovely day n we were seated outdoors. Will be back for the Duck dish n the prawns entree!!A real find in Beautiful Berrima. A must stop on your way to Canberra or just for lunch from Sydney!

Such a beautiful restaurant, well worth a day trip to visit. The food was amazing, service was excellent. We will be returning for a nice day out.

What a great find... from the outside there is not a lot to see but through the doors is a wonderful cafe with a gorgeous shop attached. The food was well priced and delicious; the shop had a unique selection of gifts, curios and homewares. Definitely a firm favourite for our whole family, we'll be back for a visit next time we're out this way.

A wonderful find in Berrima. We were a “walk-in” at midday on a Saturday and we were lucky to get a table. We had a 2 course lunch with wine. Creative menu. Quality produce. Artful presentation. Friendly service. Highly recommended!
